Well this is just a simple tutorial on how to play Modern Warfare 2 off the HDD with Xp and super jump and speed mods.
I didn’t make this tutorial. All credit goes to Game-Tuts

First of all you are going to need a few file’s:

XEX Menu

Mw2 Multi Mods:

.iso Files

Wx360:

Right lets start, Extract XEX Menu LIVE.rar folder, then i get everything ready like this:

Then open the Mw2 .iso in Wx360 like this, File> Open>
Then highlight all the contents

Then extract the contents in to the “Mw2″ folder

It will say 100% on each of the files in Wx360 once done

Then open up the “Mw2″ folder and extract the “default_mp.ff” to the “Multi Mods” folder, like shown below:

Next we are going to need to patch this with the “XEX Patcher”
So open it in XEX Patcher and simply patch like below

Then when you have the files like the ones one the left open up your Multi Mods code post like shown below:

Then move the code_post_gfx_mp.ff from the “Multi Mods” folder to the extracted contents of the Modern Warfare 2 folder named “Mw2″

And click Move and Replace then shown above.

Then put the patched default_mp.ff file back in the “Mw2″ folder, like shown below:

Now we have the modded files ready to go, get the XEX Menu folder and place in the HDD.

HDD> Partition 2> Content> 000000000> Here

Now we have XEX Menu on the HDD stay on the 000000000 part and create a new folder on the called “Games” (without the ” of course) then drag and drop the “Mw2″ folder into the “Games” folder, so like this:

HDD> Partition 2> Content> 000000000> Games> Mw2

Then patch the cache file the tut for that is here:

Once everything is ready:

Switch on the xbox and go to XEX Menu

Then Game> Mw2

And load the default_mp.xex file

And go to multiplayer

Offline:

Play split screen

Online:

Go to Xbox Live> Sign in> Private Match>

Hit Start> Options> Set Button layout to Lefty

Turn on Mod’s:

Press DPAD_UP

Select all wanted mod’s:

Right Trigger = XP Mod(Level 70)
Left Trigger = Laser Sight
Right Bumper = Global Thermal Nuclear War
Left Bumper = Arena
Left Stick =Fast Run w/Unlimited Run
A = Super Jump w/No FallDamage
DPAD_LEFT = Explosive Rounds
DPAD_RIGHT = Care Package Only(AC130 & Chopper Gunner)

Activate Selected Mod’s:

Press DPAD_DOWN

Then Hit Start> Options> Set Button layout to Default or Tactical

How to edit your classes to get unrelease camo’s and other things ect.

You will need:

Hash Block Calculator

Xplorer
Xport

This is mainly an Xbox tutorial , But Possible for PS3 also.
Don’t ask me how to do it , As i only have an Xbox

I can Give you links to these if you PM me

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have an mpdata file where you have custom classes, i would recommend renaming them to something else. They will be easier to find.
Also this is SPLIT SCREEN ONLY if you are on retail. If you have a jtag I believe it is possible but I am unsure of how to do it.

Now Lets Get started:
1. Getting your mpdata
Open your hdd in xport or xplorer and extract you mpdata. It will be located in Partition 3 >Content >E0000000000(Everyones profile is different) >41560817

2. Extracting your mpdata file
Open your mpdata in Horizon and select Contents.

Right click the mpdata and hit extract and extract it to somewhere you will remember.

3. Understanding hex
Now open your mpdata in Hex Editor Neo. (The one you just extracted in Horizon)

In order to edit your custom classes, you must first understand how the values are arranged. Hex is organized by two columns: offsets and columns

Lets say you click on a value in offset 00000bd0 in column 4. Instead of being offset 00000bd0, it will read 00000bd4 to indicate you clicked on the fourth column. This will help you find things in hex.

If you have a Ps3, your custom classes will start at offset 00000c04. If you have an xbox 360, it will be located at 00000bc4. These are the locations of the values of the primary weapon of you first class.

Also notice that the position of the value, looking to the left where the text is. You see how the value is one of the dots two lines above the name of your first class? You can use this to find the primary weapon of your other classes. Since the dot where your primary weapon is is two lines above your first class, the primary weapon of your second class will be two lines above the name of your second class in the fourth row also. You can use this method of correspondence to edit all values of your classes. If you are confused, see the picture below. Use the values in Step 4 to edit your primary weapon and all the other values.

4. Items and their Values

5. How to swap them
So what to do with all these values?

First, find the item you wish to edit and click on its value. I will be editing the camo of my weapon.

Then, click the number again and you will be able to edit it. I will be changing mine to Blue Cheetah (07)

After editing, it will turn red. Don’t worry, you didn’t screw up.

6. Saving and injecting your mpdata
After you finish editing your mpdata, save it. Now open Horizon back up and go back to the contents tab, right click and this time select overwrite. Choose the file you just edited.

Now go back to the general tab. Unselect resign and rehash and hit save changes.

Now open up mpdata resigner and open your mpdata. It should say success. Now open Hash Block Calculator. Then hit tools, calculate hash blocks. Now we are ready to inject the mpdata back into your hdd!

Open up xport/xplorer. Navigate back to Partition 3 >Content >E0000000000 >41560817. Now click and drag your mpdata into the right window of the program. Hit ok to overwrite. Now unplug your hdd and load up the profile with the modded mpdata in split screen, and BAM theres ur mods.

BONUS: How to get three weapons
Open your mpdata and swap your special grenade with a weapon. Now you will have three weapons in your inventory so when you press y twice, you will get your third weapon!

Please Note:
You can’t put attachments like thermal on a secondary weapon or akimbo on assault rifles, etc; it will not show up. What you can do is swap special grenades for weapons, equipment for perks, stuff like that.

Clan Tag Hack (PS3)

I have also made my own tutorial on how to do this:

1. First download this file: Download GPAD0_MP.PRF…
2. Put your USB into your PS3 and on the PS3 menu scroll to Saved Data Utility and copy your MW2 profile data (NOT SPLITSCREEN DATA) to your USB.
3. Put the USB back in the computer and open it up go into PS3/SAVEDATA/BLES00683-AUTO-.
4. In the BLES00683-AUTO- folder, copy the hacked file you downloaded into here and if it asks you to overwrite, do so.
5. Plug the USB back into your PS3 go to Save Data Utility and go into your USB and copy the MW2 save game back to the PS3.

XB Lobby Hack

Here is a guide on getting the files on your already JTagged system and preparing it for hosting MW2 lobbies. Yes, this guide is assuming your system is already Jtagged.

ALL OFFLINE:
1)Install xexloader 0.26
2)Run XeXLoader and Create a folder on the root of the drive called “Games” then in that directory create another folder called “MW2″ go into that folder and select “Copy DVD”
3)Replace original Files with modded ones in MW2 Directory(Make backups of originals first!)

MAKE SURE YOU OVERWRITE THE CORRECT code_post_gfx_mp.ff and NOT code_post_gfx.ff THE FILENAMES ARE SO CLOSE AND THIS IS USUALLY HOW YOU GET THE DREADED DISK READ ERROR!

I strongly recommend putting your DVD Drive to stock firmware after you installed MW2

and place them in “Cache” folder found on the root of the HDD, copy the files over with xexloader.

ONLINE:
5)Reboot xbox with CAT5 cable, Log into live. If you have XBR3 it will ask to update, Dont be afraid and DO IT. I dont even have my R6T3 removed and it only updates the data you dont have, it will know you’re already running 8955 and only add avatar support.***If you already have Avatars you most likely dont have to do this***
OFFLINE:
6)Load up xexloader and run MW2 from the menu, then go into Multiplayer and at that point you can connect to Live.
***If you have the original MW2 disk I would strongly recommend having it in the drive even though you arent playing from the dvd, just for live check I cant guarantee you wont be banned but you need all the luck you can get***

NOTE: For match hosting you want it to be Private>Free-for-All>Any Map You Want! To turn on the xp mod, at the beginning of every match you need to press “D-Pad, Up, Right, Down” during the countdown, you know it’s working because the countdown restarts. You need to do this at the start of every match! The code-post-gfx-mp provided is a 2 kill based xp hack, 1st kill gets you rank 70, 2nd kill gets you that extra xp to prestige.
