The Crabwalk
The crabwalk is also known as the roadie run, and is my favorite glitch, I think it is the most detructive besides of course, the Extreme Roadie Run. This is an ancient glitch that was used pre patch, Epic tried to remove it, but it was rediscovered, and is now even easier than before. The crabwalk, or roadie run, becasue of how powerful it is, is the most common glitch found in Gears of War, if you plan on using it, keep in mind that some one on the other team will prpbably know how to perofrm it, aswell. If you can;t yet Crabwalk, but an opposing team meber is Crab Walking the best defense is a chainsaw, however, this may not work if he is a good crabwalker.
This glitch is simple button wise, however it did take me sometime to finally get profricient at it. This is how it is performed…
1) Take cover
2) Press A right or left to Swat turn while rolling the left analog stick back.
3) Press A
So, pretty much all you do is mount a wall (A) and do a very fast swat turn right or left (however continue rolling the left analog to the back positon) A.
If you do this glitch correct your character will be lagging swiftly back and forth as you move, especially if you are side stepping. However to other people your character will be in a sort of crouched position as he lags quickly. This makes it very hard for the opposing team to hurt you, making the crabwalk a very usefiul glitch for assisination.
Here is a video I found that not only includes the way to crabwalk which I explained above, but also gives a tutorial on the Two Man Crabwalk. The video tutorial was created by BayStealthVIP.
